What’s changed in the city.

Every update to the server, newest first. The same notes are posted in #changelog on our Discord.

  1. 📋 Changelog — 20 September

    • Fire and EMS have their own rosters now: Davis, Blaine County, El Burro Heights and the hospital's EMS. Eight rosters in total, each posting to its own Discord channel
    • Your rank in game and your rank on the roster are the same thing, in every department
    • SASP is now the **San Andreas Highway Patrol**
    • A station has opened in **Roxwood**. State and sheriff both work out of it until it's staffed
    • Mission Row, Davis, Paleto and Sandy Shores have had their duty points, armouries, lockers, evidence and garages put where they actually belong. Davis has a helipad
    • A new police fleet. The old police cars have been retired
    • Cars go by rank — cadets the Stanier, officers the Tailgater, Aleutian, Stalker, Buffalo STX and Cypher, mid ranks the Chavos, Omnis and SG7, high ranks the Coquette, and the Caracara is the chief's
    • Helicopters are unchanged
    • **Sirens work.** They never had, on any car — the tones were never matching the vehicle
    • **Cayo Perico**, with a drivable bridge and tunnel from the south-east coast
    • HUD settings are in it — `I` opens the laptop
    • Siren settings are in it — `F9` opens it on the Sirens tab. Those settings belong to the car you're sat in, so the tab only fills in at the wheel
    • The screen is far easier to read
    • Your inventory and your vehicles now save when the server restarts. Anything you'd done since the last autosave used to be lost

  2. 📋 Changelog — 19 September (part 2)

    • The Davis and El Burro Heights fire stations and the warehouse storage now fit properly with the new map locations around them
    • A few older locations were removed while the new ones settle in. Some may come back later
    • Pillbox check-in and hospital beds are being moved to the new hospital layout. Tell staff if anything is out of place
    • Expect some rough edges around the new locations. Report anything floating, missing or blocking with `/report`

    • New civilian cars are coming to the dealership in their own category
    • Bought cars and garage cars now hand you the keys and a full tank properly
    • SADOT replaces the mechanic job — apply at restlesssoulsrp.com/apply
    • Taxi, bus, tow, garbage, hot dog, vineyard and reporter jobs have been removed
    • Restaurants are closed for now while the venues are set up
    • Three new fire stations are open for LSFD
    • Postal codes on the map
    • A redesigned inventory, showing your player ID and citizen ID
    • The scoreboard (`HOME`) now lists every illegal activity
    • The radial menu is now on F4 instead of Z
    • T opens chat with / already typed
    • **Police & services:** Mission Row PD, Davis PD, Paleto Sheriff, Sandy Shores Sheriff, Pillbox Hospital, Bolingbroke Penitentiary, City Hall, Park Ranger station, the impound
    • **Banks:** Pacific Standard, Paleto Bank, Fleeca banks
    • **Food & drink:** Burger Shot, Bean Machine, Up-n-Atom, Pop's Diner, UwU Cat Café, Koi, Pearls, Horny's, the pizzeria, Bahama Mamas, Vanilla Unicorn
    • **Shops:** 24/7 stores, Ammu-Nation, Binco, Suburban, Ponsonbys, Haters, barber shops, tattoo parlours, Paleto Robs Liquor, Vespucci Beach Market, East Side LTD
    • **Cars:** Premium Deluxe Motorsport, Benny's, LS Customs, Otto's Autos, Hayes Auto, Harmony Repair, the import garage, the tuner car meet
    • **Gangs:** Ballas, Families, Vagos, Aztecas, Marabunta, Triads, the Lost MC clubhouse and their Slab City camp, the Altruist camp
    • **Around the city:** Diamond Casino, Maze Bank Arena, the bowling alley, the arcade, Record A Studios, Triad Records, Bobcat Security, Pink Cage Motel, Mirror Park houses, the Paleto camp, the weed farm, the yachts
    • Expect a bigger download and a slower first load the next time you join
    • Drug selling zones no longer show on the map
    • No police are needed to start any criminal activity right now
