Metal detecting
Sweep the beach, dig up what's buried. Most of it is junk; some of it isn't.
Where to start
Take the job on your laptop's Career tab, then go to Vespucci Beach. You need a metal detector
(from $2,050) and a shovel ($190), both sold there.
The work
Walk the sand with the detector, dig where it signals, and sell what you find. Better detectors find
better things.
Getting paid
Anything from $4 to $3,750 a find, plus the $10 job cheque.
Worth knowing
- Finds feed the Outdoors skill tree; its Lucky Find perk sometimes doubles a find.
